IMG_3324Kayleigh Kaiser, Texas Woman’s University,

Hello! I am KayLeigh Kaiser, and I am a senior at Texas Woman’s University! I moved to Texas from Wisconsin to pursue my passion for dietetics in an environment that has
an endless amount of opportunity. I was Secretary for the Food and Nutrition Network at TWU, interned for Meals on Wheels, and currently work as a hospitality rep at Medical City Denton. I am also involved in Phi Upsilon Omicron and Phi Kappa Phi. For fun I like to go to the gym, take unnecessary trips to Target, work on my blog, and hang out with my cat, Zeus. I am so excited to be apart of TSDA as president-elect and look forward to watching the organization grow.

picAlexandra Garcia, Texas Tech University,

Hello! My name is Alexandra Garcia and I am a senior Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics major at Texas Tech University. I am passionate about community health and nutrition education. I have been working with Catholic Charities, Diocese of Lubbock for the past year where I have been able to work closely with the low-income population and overall community by organizing the Learn to Cook program. I also had the opportunity to serve as the President for the Student Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics (SAND) at Texas Tech University. Through these opportunities, I have grown more aware of the continuing need for nutrition education, which keeps me motivated to continue serving in my community and sharing my knowledge about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. I am excited to serve as Secretary for TSDA and look forward to working with other students throughout Texas who share my passion for nutrition!

Adrian Boulter, Texas Woman’s University,

My name is Adrian Boulter and I am a senior nutrition student at Texas Woman’s University. I am 22, I love to learn languages, and my favorite color is champagne. I currently have 3 jobs. I work as a healthy lifestyle coach teaching family health education classes for the YMCA. I am also an assistant for Registered Dietitian Neva Cochran. This May I was hired as a FNS team leader at Medical City Dallas. I enjoy all of my work because I have been blessed with excellent team members that have made me feel like part of a family. The field of food and nutrition is just magic to me. The possibilities are endless and everyone can relate to food! I am so happy I was able to discover such an awesome field and know that we will learn and grow together as members that will STAND together for science! I am honored to be your Treasurer and I am excited for the year to come. Please feel free to contact me for any reason, even if it’s just to chat.

Sarah Dahms, Texas Woman’s University,

Hey Y’all! My Name is Sarah Dahms and I am currently a senior dietetics major at Texas Woman’s University. On campus I am a member of the Food and Nutrition Network, Phi Upsilon Omicron, and am a TWU Empowering Women as Leaders STAR. I have had the pleasure of working in the FNS dept. at the Medical City of Dallas this past year and am currently working at a weight-loss company called Medifast. I am obsessed with food and nutrition and how to live a healthier lifestyle. I have always had the desire to help people, and what better way to start than by what people interact with the most every single day: FOOD!! For fun I love going to new restaurants, posting on my nutrition blog, watching hockey (go Stars!), and I guess I will admit to my shopping addiction and netflix binging as well…. I am so extremely excited to be a part of TSDA and can’t wait to see what the year 2017-2018 had to offer!
